Keeping Postville Together

Two signs greet visitors to Postville. One battered old sign reads, “Welcome to Postville, Boyhood Home of Dr. John R. Mott, Nobel Peace Prize winner-1946.” The other lies behind, in pristine condition, and reads “Postville-Hometown to the World.” The first sign represents what Postville was; the second represents what Postville has become.
